LAWS

Thriveapeutics has a few "laws" from back in the early days. More recently, the usage of the term "phenomenon" has become more frequent. Since these "laws" are so well known, here is that short list:

The Law of Resonance - This is the granddaddy of them all. Resonance represents the specific frequency, energy, and vibration that emits from an individual. So many phenomena occur as a result of this law. Thriveapeutically, resonance accounts for many other concepts associated with this body of work. Most notably, Epigenetic Inluence, Neurological Nutrition, and the Awareness Mechanism, all represent the Law of Resonance in some way. Energies in close proximity have a tendency to influence each other. "The stronger paradigm wins" means that the stronger resonance is more likely to influence the others rather than being influenced by other energies. Resonance is responsible for what gets upregulated and what gets downregulated when moving from environment to environment.

"The Law of Polarity" - Polarity represents the opposite ends of an expression. Inhale and exhale, birth and death, light and dark, are all examples. The list goes on and on. Every specific frequency has an inverse. Sometimes, those inverse expressions alternate. Regardless, the Law of Polarity gives rise to the Goldilocks archetype. As keepers of the delicate balance, we are encoded with certain criteria. We seem to know things. "This is too hard. This is too soft. This is just right." In Thriveapeutics, we often refer to "Assess and Address" to bring forth our inner knowing as keepers of the balance. Polarity plays an important role in helping us concede to what is "Just right."

"The Law of Rhythm" - Rhythm is the rate at which opposites (polarity) usher in each other. Rhythm has a frequency and also includes many variable. "This is occuring too frequently. This is too scarce. This is too intense (amplitude). This is too flat (lifeless), etc." In regards to tone, hypertonicity (spasm, taut fibers, etc.) and hypotonicity (flaccid, atrophy, etc.) are extremes. In between those exteremes lies the optimal tone. There is no fixed optimal tone. In "meeting the conditions," optimal changes depending on those conditions. Knowing the laws of resonance, polarity, and rhythm explains the phrase, "The work does the work."

"The Law of Diminishing Effects" - Everything has a shelf life. When you eat, it only lasts so long. The same with sleeping. , washing, going to the bathroom, thinking good thoughts, and practicing whatever rituals call to you. Make peace as quickly as possible that things that are good for you need to be repeated. It's not a problem or a burden. It is a life. Doing good things are good for you. Doing bad things are bad for you. The opposites are also true. Not doing bad things are good for you. The big one, however, that very few people will allow themselves to acknowledge, is that not doing good things is bad for you. The good news is that there are a lot of good things you can do. The bad news is that since there are a lot of good things you can do, there a lot of things you can neglect. Why sugarcoat it. We all have a lot of calls to answer to be at our best. That's just the way it is. That's living life on life's terms. Do what you can when you can with great dignity, in its time, and do it well, very well, so that you get the most out of it.

"The Law of Distorted Self-Perception" - You can see the forest for the trees. You are so close to your experience of you that you inherit certain blindspots. Know that. Trust that. Regardless of what is true for you, remind yourself that it is incredibly and fantastically incomplete. Stay humble. Choose to express humility as a concession that you understand and accept that even your experience of who you believe yourself to be is incredibly and fantastically incomplete. This distortion means you miss a lot regarding yourself. Some of what you miss may be considered positive and some of what you miss may easily be considered negative. If you do not have the entire picture of who you are, you do not have the entire picture of anything else. Remember that. Stay far away from expressions of arrogance. In moving-toward language, stay new, a mystery being revealed with each breath, and give that same humilty to everyone and everything else.
