DEPTH-OF-FORGIVENESS WORK

Forgiveness brings up a wide array of emotions for people. The thought of doing forgiveness work often elicits a heaviness that naturally makes doing forgiveness work unattractive and more difficult. Forward Healing gives rise to a more attractive and honest approach to forgiveness. Expressing forgiveness with acceptance cleans up the process and properly initiates "Depth-of-Forgiveness Work." What follows usually surprises most people, especially when the result is far more liberating than the densities they were accessing at the thought of doing forgiveness work.

How do you know that forgiveness is actually occuring? The process, like most everything in Thriveapeutics, requires repetition. Forgiveness IS a process. It is an exercise, something that you strengthen and develop over time. The backdrop of Thriveapeutics and Forward Healing lends itself to effective strategies of forgiveness. Beyond the requirement of beginning with Acceptance, the sequence is both unique and inspiringly practical.

Depth-of-Forgiveness Work focuses on the dynamic between offering forgiveness and being forgiven. Too often, this dynamic is either ignored or addressed independently. Classic forgiveness involves an adversarial relationship between "perpetrator" and "victim." Although in the world of multiple truths that dynamic does indeed exist, we concede to the notion that other ways of viewing that dynamic will make forgiveness work more complete. We offer many options for people to explore the wiggle room regarding what people can and cannot do in honoring the integrity of their forgiveness/acceptance process. That wiggle room, however negotiable, represents the integrity of a person's process. It determines what actually occurs during Depth-of-Forgiveness Work.

SEQUENCE:
1) Acceptance - The flavor that makes depth-of-forgiveness work more enjoyable and interesting.
2) Exaltation - The practice that places the dynamic and the current situation in the most high.
3) Exploration - The mechanism of discovery regarding the wiggle room and what can be done.
4) Release - The natural consequence of completing 1, 2, & 3 and enjoying the lightness of resolution. "It is done."

As with many moving-toward practices in Thriveapeutics, the storyline matters. It changes the energy being addressed. The specific mechanism that works becomes the recipe for success. Once that storyline reveals itself, releasing the dense energy is almost automatic. Tears that flow are usually from the feeling of becoming free from the weight and woundedness of the past. This specific process gives newer hope to the notion of forgiveness. It takes the stale energy and moves it outwardly to merge with the infinite. What occurs is something that feels tremendously light, "forgiveness and beyond." Consider this quote: "I learned to accept that which I needed to forgive and I learned to accept it in the highest ways possible."
